Let’s visit some of the highlights that the region has to offer.
This is an approximate itinerary, subject to wineries availability at the time of booking or your personal choice:
10am Penfolds Barossa Valley – “Daily Tasting Flight” – Six mixed white and red wines including some premiums like Bin 150 Shiraz, Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz and St Henri Shiraz
11.30am Henschke Wines – “ Henschke Explorer” – Including six wines chosen by you from an extensive list that allows you to customise a tasting based on your preferences
1.00pm Fino Seppeltsfield or St Hugo – Multi course lunch
3.00pm Torbreck – “New Release Flight” – A tasting of 5 wines across a mix of white, rose and red wines OR “Barossa Reds Flight” a tasting of 5 current release red wines
4.00pm Return
Alternative wineries might be booked in the case one of the above is not available – for example Rockford, Chateau Yalumba or St Hugo. You may also name a different winery of your choice, in this situation.
Time permitting we might visit one of the Barossa’s great attractions like Barossa Valley Cheese company or Maggie Beer Farm shop
Itinerary is subject to availability at time of booking and can be altered to include your preferred winery or restaurant – additional fees may apply.
Tour includes:
- Courtesy Pickup from your accommodation in Adelaide city, Glenelg, Barossa Valley, private address or Cruise terminal
- Experienced tour driver/guide – most probably by the owner Bob Savic
- Private transport in Land Cruiser Prado – premium 4WD
- Standard Wine Tasting fees included – alternatively you can upgrade to premium wine tasting for an additional fee
